Angelica is the director of the specialty pharmacy at Baptist Health South Florida in Miami. She received her doctor of pharmacy degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and completed a post graduate year 1 and year 2 in Health System Pharmacy Administration at The University of Kansas Health System in conjunction with a master’s degree from The University of Kansas. Prior to her current role, Angelica was the Clinical Program Development manager for the specialty pharmacy at Memorial Healthcare System where she oversaw the clinical management and patient assistance programs, collaborated with health care providers to develop clinical programs for clinics and assisted with specialty pharmacy accreditation.
In her current role, Angelica oversees the financial, quality, clinical and operational management of the specialty pharmacy. She is working on expanding the current specialty pharmacy service lines to include oncology, endocrinology, cardiology, infectious disease, and behavioral health.
