Kristina Loeffler, from Cooperstown, NY, obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hartwick College in 2014. Immediately afterwards she established permanent practice in the specialty of hematology-oncology with the Bassett Cancer Institute. She was employed as an Oncology Nurse Clinician through 2017 at which time she advanced her practice to become an Oncology Nurse Team Leader. In 2018 Kristina obtained national oncology nurse certification. She is an active member of both NCODA and ONS. Kristina specializes in infusional and oral chemotherapy patient education, patient and family support throughout treatment and survivorship, and side effect management.
