Amina Ahmed, MD, MS currently serves as the Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of OBGYN at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois and Medical Director of Gynecologic Oncology for Rush Cancer Center at Rush University Medical Center.  

 

Dr. Ahmed received her Doctor of Medicine from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. She then went on to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where she completed her residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and completed her Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Ahmed also received a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the College of Public Health at the University of Iowa.

 

Dr. Ahmed is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, NRG Oncology, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, FACOG and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Her interests and expertise include gynecologic cancers, robotic surgery and geriatric oncology.
