Board Certified in Ambulatory Care and manage the Moffitt Cancer Center Clinic Pharmacy AKA “Specialty Pharmacy” since its inception in 2012. The Specialty Pharmacy contributes to the prevention and cure of cancer by focusing on oral chemotherapy patient education, monitoring for adherence, and collaborating with clinic to avoid adverse reactions. Additionally, the team works diligently to lower any financial barriers to treatment by facilitating insurance prior authorizations, copay assistance grants and manufacturer patient assistance programs.
