Speaker Bio
I started my Pharmacy Technician career in 2015. In 2018 a pharmacist friend, who now works for NCODA, talked me into leaving my home in retail and jumping into Oncology. My 3rd day on the job, she told me I needed to register for NCODA and come to the Fall Summit. The rest is history. I learned so much at that Fall Summit and quickly realized that this was my calling and this is my passion. I was the oral chemo technician at Summit Cancer Centers in Spokane, WA for nearly 3 years when we underwent a merger with American Oncology Network. With that merger, I took a position with AON Pharmacy as a Patient Assistance Technician. Patient Assistance is my passion, along with my 2 dogs, and being on the sidelines of a football field for my 2 boys. There is nothing better than helping patients gain access to medications that they would otherwise not be able to afford.
I am a regional leader for NCODA, a member of OPTA, have participated in a PQI in action, I spoke at the 2020 Virtual Fall Summit, and I wrote an article for the 2021 Fall Publication of NCODA's Oncolytics Today.
