Aubrie Vargas was born and raised in a small mining town in Arizona. She grew up in a family oriented community and her parents worked hard to create more opportunities than they were given. They cleaned banks at night and put themselves through school. Aubrie graduated from Northern Arizona University but not before being diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. Her community and her family were her anchor and now Aubrie has been the Manager for the United States Marrow Registry, Be The Match, for over 13 years. She met her husband who is also a cancer survivor and it is their mission to help patients that were once in their positions get the help they need.
