I graduated with a BSN of nursing in 2006 from the University of Louisville. I worked in a TCU oncology post-surgical unit until 2012. I joined the Norton Cancer Institute as a chemotherapy infusion nurse in 2012 until 2016. I worked my way up the ranks and finally became a nurse navigator in 2021. I have been the vice president of the Greater Louisville Oncology Nursing Society for the past eight years. I also have had the opportunity to serve as a regional leader with NCODA since 2018. In addition I am a member of our NCODA nursing committee. On a more personal note I have some how ended up with seven cats (crazy cat lady alert) and love to read and travel. I want to continue to grow my practice and learn continuing ways to improve care of our oncology patients. It is a pleasure to get to speak for you today.
