Brittney Carden serves as the Specialty Pharmacy Manager at the University of South Alabama, Mitchell Cancer Institute Specialty Pharmacy in Mobile, AL and is an Affiliate Assistant Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy, where she earned her PharmD. After graduating in 2013, she started the first oncology-specific specialty pharmacy of any community oncology clinic servicing the Gulf Coast. In 2018, after working there for roughly five years, she was recruited to open another specialty pharmacy servicing USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute and has since been an integral part of the patient care process at this institution. She works closely with providers and patients to ensure patients receive their treatments as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
