Suzanne Hinman Practice Nurse Suzanne Hinman has been a Registered Nurse since 1986. She has been in her current position at an ambulatory oncology clinic since 2000. Initially Suzanne worked as an infusion nurse for about 5 years. Then she was a Clinical Research Coordinator until 2012 when the small private practice was acquired by Yale New Haven Health. Since then, she has been focusing on patients on oral oncolytics in her role as a Practice Nurse.
Dallas Lawry Oncology Nurse Practitioner Dallas graduated from California State University Channel Islands with her BSN in 2014 and worked at UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica until 2021. Dallas is at the forefront of her career, recently graduating with her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Loyola University New Orleans (2021). Her niche within oncology is palliative care, where she fiercely advocates for patients along the entire trajectory of cancer care, from diagnosis, to survivorship or hospice. Her passions include symptom management, increasing access to care, and improving the death literacy of communities through end-of-life education. She is the recipient of UCLA’s Nurse Scientist of the Year (2018) and received the Nightingale Award from Loyola University New Orleans (2021) for her commitment to the profession of nursing. She is currently working as an oncology and palliative care nurse practitioner at UC San Diego.
