Sherif El-Refai trained as an oncology pharmacist, and obtained his PharmD degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He pursued clinical care at the Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky treating patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit as well as in the GYN/ONC and Breast Outpatient Clinics. Dr. El-Refai completed his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a focus on genetic and immune biomarkers of response in NSCLC. Dr. El-Refai joined Tempus in December 2017 and is a Senior MSL with the Medical Affairs team at Tempus.
