Kristen Felthousen has nearly 20 years of experience in human resources, higher education, teaching, training, professional and leadership and development. She earned her Master of Science in Human Resources Development from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York State.

Over the last 15 years she has focused on career, professional and leadership development with students and recent graduates in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, biotech, regulatory sciences, healthcare analytics and biopharmaceutical marketing. She established and was the Director of Career Services at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. As part of the School of Pharmacy at Keck Graduate Institute, Claremont Colleges, she was a member of the founding Executive Leadership Team that established the school. She held the positions of Associate Director of Student Affairs and Adjunct Professor of Practice for Administrative Sciences and taught in the Professional Development Series. When she transitioned to in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Southern California (USC), she focused on admissions, advising and professional development in the Department of Regulatory and Quality Sciences. She is currently the Program Manager for the Division of Healthcare and Biopharmaceutical Business at USC, in the School of Pharmacy.

Kristen also founded her own company, Career CRISPR, in 2019 to provide career and professional development coaching, support and learning opportunities for students, new graduates and career changers. She provides individual coaching and also partners with professional organizations to help address the inequity of available resources to support students and professionals in healthcare and STEM-focused careers.
