Heather Stefanski, M.D., PhD, is currently Vice President of Medical services at the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)/Be The Match. Prior to joining the NMDP/Be the Match, Dr Stefanski was as Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota and was actively involved in clinical care and research involving children with life threatening blood and immune system disorders. She has been actively engaged in research involving novel methods to improve hematopoietic cell transplantation and cellular immunotherapy.
