Julianne is originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina and obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. After graduation, she completed her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the Greenville Health System in Greenville, SC and a PGY2 oncology pharmacy residency at Augusta University Medical Center and the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Augusta, Georgia. She is board certified by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in Oncology Pharmacy. Julianne previously worked as an outpatient oncology clinical pharmacist at Indiana University Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her primary focus was the management of patients receiving oral chemotherapy and bridging the gap between the outpatient clinic and the specialty pharmacy. Currently, she serves as the Manager of Clinical Initiatives for NCODA where she leads the oral chemotherapy education (OCE) and intravenous cancer treatment education (IVE) initiatives and helps develop quality continuing education for NCODA membership. She is passionate about providing effective patient education, adverse event management, and supportive care for oncology patients. Julianne has been recognized with national awards for her dedication to oncology patient care and pharmacy research, but her fondest memories come from the time she spends outside of work with her family and friends.
