Ms. Moran brings 25 years of clinical, Information Technology and management expertise to the field of healthcare. Her career has spanned direct nursing care, to nursing directorship, Information Technology consultancy, to practice administration and now to Executive Directorship. Her current role includes the oversight of a comprehensive community cancer center which provides medical oncology and radiation oncology services. This center is a joint venture between Lake Health and University Hospitals. During her short tenure, Ms. Moran has successfully driven quality outcomes, fiscal solvency, research and community partnership expansion, and employee/physician engagement and satisfaction.
Her passion for quality has been demonstrated in attainment of numerous accomplishments including: American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation, the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) certification, and successful Ohio Department of Health (ODH) surveys at the Lake Health/Seidman Cancer Center. She has demonstrated keen financial management skills through the oversight of the revenue cycle to produce a financially solid center. Ms. Moran worked to expand current research efforts through the creation of a new master agreement between the center and Case Western Reserve and University Hospitals. The outcome of this effort has increased the availability of clinical trials available to patients.
She has driven efficiencies in rolling out two successful Electronic Medical Record integration projects. Her leadership has also leveraged community partnerships to integrate whole person care efforts including: spiritual counseling, palliative care, survivorship, mental health support, multidisciplinary professional care teams to meet patient needs.
Ms. Moran is a highly passionate professional dedicated to improving quality care. She is skilled at building effective and efficient systems to support continuous quality improvement. She energizes teams to produce stellar outcomes to improve the patient experience.
Ms. Moran holds a BSN from Ursuline College and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.
