Daniela DeThomasis completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Union College in Schenectady, New York in 1997. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, New York in May, 2000.  She had worked extensively in retail pharmacy for 10 years prior to transitioning to the acute care setting at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York, where she worked as an inpatient pharmacist from 2010 to 2014.  Daniela is currently the Medically Integrated Dispensary (MID) pharmacist at New York Oncology Hematology in Albany, New York, a position she has held since 2014.  Daniela worked closely with the Director of Pharmacy at NYOH to open the MID in January, 2015. She continues to lead the dispensary team to strive for operational excellence.  Her professional goals include improving patient outcomes in the outpatient oncology setting and enhancing patient adherence and patient satisfaction.
