Kate has been an oncology nurse for over 19 years. She began her nursing career working in in-patient hospital environment and has spent the last 13 years in various capacities at Texas Oncology. Currently she serves as the Manager of Nursing Services at Texas Oncology (South Austin, Bastrop and Lakeway locations). She oversees all clinical personnel at these, with specific responsibility for: infusion room nurses; Medical, Gynecological, and Radiation Oncology physician nurses; medical assistants and Supervisors/Leads for nurses and medical assistants. Texas Oncology has more than 175 locations and 420 physicians across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma, including 48 comprehensive cancer centers.
