After I finished pharmacy school I obtained a doctorate degree studying novel histone-modifying enzymes as new cancer drug targets and I was able to gain more insight during my postdoctoral fellowship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. I have worked for 8 years at Texas Oncology now and was recently promoted from pharmacy manager to area pharmacy manager. I enjoy working with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from all over the state and provide guidance to them. Caring for oncology patients means a lot to me and I would like to ensure that our patients receive the best care possible. Education is very important in the oncology field and I value every opportunity to participate
