AN ONCOLOGY STUDENT PHARMACIST'S CAREER JOURNEY

On-site registration for NCODA’s First Annual PSO Meeting is officially sold out! We can’t wait to host students from across North America as we come together and prepare for the future of oncology.

Every student interested still has the opportunity to participate. Join us virtually by registering at the link below and get access to all meeting general sessions including two keynotes presentations by Lori Pierce, MD, Chair of the Board of the ASCO, as well as Tim Whitten, BPharm, MBA, CEO and President of Taiho Oncology.

At NCODA, our mission is to improve patient care. We are passionate about providing a community for healthcare students with an interest in oncology and the pharmaceutical industry.

THANK YOU TO OUR PSO MEETING HOST PRACTICE!

KARMANOS CANCER CENTER

The Karmanos Cancer Institute is the only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center in metro Detroit and one of just 51 centers of its kind in the United States. That means patients can access treatments exclusive to Karmanos as well as clinical trials, cancer prevention programs and multidisciplinary teams of cancer specialists — a comprehensive approach you cannot find at a community hospital. Because comprehensive cancer centers are at the forefront of cancer research, they can often handle patient cases that are more complex.

Karmanos is exclusively focused on providing their patients with every resource to give them their best chance at a favorable outcome.

NCODA'S PSO MISSION

Our focus is to offer an international community for healthcare students with passion in oncology and pharmaceutical industry. We provide education, leadership, mentorship and opportunities in research and community outreach. We promote unique and dynamic experiences for students to collaborate with all oncology stakeholders.
